Does not work for me

I tried it with several external applications.

I rebooted as suggested in other reviews.

The file is transmitted to the external editor of choice, no problem. But saving the file does not return it to Photos.

Watched the screencast, but it’s more of a demo than a tutorial.

The first option in the screencast, saving the file does not return it to Photos.

The second option in the screencast returns a much lower resolution version to Photos.

The third option of the screencast advises “dragging the image onto the extension”, but I can’t even see what he’s dropping it on. Something in the dock. But there is no “extension” in my dock. So no help there.
